On Sunday September 11th the grand ballroom at The Plaza New York City, showcased Thakoon Panichgul’s spring/summer 2012 fashion collection. A vibrant and playful take on the classic Indian and Cowboy’s fashions including an old western soundtrack in theme and sprit of the show. In addition to the cowboy hats and bandannas a distinctive aroma was chosen to complete the rustic western appeal and invoke a sense of place. Woody low notes and spicy high notes were the signatures of the scent diffused by Air Aroma.

The décor was gold opulence with the floor and walls covered in gold. Air Aroma created gold fabric covers for the diffusers to match the décor. Michael Canale, Senior Vice President form Air Aroma meet with Thakoon prior to the show for is approval of the custom made covers. Thakoon, while very happy with the covers told Michael, "They are perfect, however your product is so sleek in design it looks like an Apple product and I would hate to cover such beauty". The four sleek designed Aroscent units were uncovered and placed on the floor against the wall on either side of the room in strategic locations.

The scent was diffused evenly throughout the enormous grand ballroom. A representative from Dizon Inc, the production company hired for the show, had this to comment "When we had our initial meeting, I told my crew 'there is no way they can get a scent in a room this big'. I'm so impressed these little machines were able to cover a room this big. I have worked with others that can't hold a candle to these beauties". Samantha Goldworm from 12.29 reported "We use to work with another scent company, but they were difficult to work with and their equipment wouldn't scent nearly the coverage Air Aroma units".
